Arne and Birthe manage the day to day running of the Seamens’ Home and take care of room rentals and commercial leases. Arne also looks after marketing and technical matters in the house. Birthe is responsible for the practical side of things and plans the work schedule for everyone, so that the house is always clean and welcoming; she can be seen everywhere around the Seamens’ Home busy with various tasks.

Kitchen assistant & Catering apprentice

Works mostly in the kitchen where she is learning about the different aspects of kitchen work and serving our guests and the tasks involved.

Kamille T. Villesen

Catering apprentice

Helps in the kitchen and with the rooms. Putting both sandwich fillings onto bread and sheets on beds! So she too is here and there around the house.

Susanne Pedersen

Kitchen assistant

Works mostly in the kitchen and sometimes with the rooms; enjoys when it is busy in the Seamens’ home and is good at giving a helping hand.

Other employees

Nelum, Victoria, Bernt, Maria B and Maria H are quick to the mark when it is necessary for some extra help - they help wherever they are needed be it cleaning or in the kitchen.
